In a bit of a miracle, the worst of the damage that we have sustained is that our front awning was completely destroyed, and we have several roof leaks in our back work room space. Though an assessment from a structural engineer is still pending, a preliminary inspection of the City Square building where our Gallery is located has determined that the building itself is still structurally sound. We have been granted access to the building and were able to assess ourselves that all of the artworks and client property within our gallery are safe and secure.
NES estimates that it will be at least 2-4 weeks before we regain power. This, unfortunately, puts us in a position where we are unable to complete any framing projects that had a Christmas deadline that were not already completed before Saturday's tornado until after the new year.
If you have an item waiting to be framed or picked up from us, please be on the lookout for a phone call or text from a 615 cell phone number. We will be reaching out in the next few days to make a plan for pick up or storage arrangements.
This has been very trying for us and there is still a long road ahead of rebuilding and remediation but we are trying to remain positive and grateful that our All About Art family and those closest to us were safe and unharmed.
Please stay tuned to Facebook, Instagram and allaboutartgallery.com for more updates as we have them.
Thank you so much to everyone who has reached out sending your love and support. We are so grateful for our community and look forward to serving you again very soon.
