Tom Moore
Hendersonville, Tennessee
Born in Windsor, Ontario Canada, Tom never imagined he would own his own art gallery someday and live in Tennessee painting full-time. Although, he has been drawing and painting since he could hold a pencil in his hand, he always had responsibilities with his family and other job commitments that kept him from pursuing this dream.
After high school, Tom attended Schoolcraft College in Michigan. He experimented and seriously developed his natural talent to draw and paint. He also attended a workshop at the Scottsdale School of Art in Arizona; studying under the renowned Dan Meiduch.
After being represented by galleries in Santa Fe and Taos, New Mexico, and Local Color Gallery in Nashville, Tennessee, Tom started to dream about owning his own art gallery. All About Art Gallery in Hendersonville, Tennessee is proof of a life-long dream. Tom and his wife, Geralyn, owned the gallery for more than 15 years before selling it to close friends Joy & Adam Baker in 2014 to pursue a happy retirement.
Tom now finds pleasure in evoking images of times past….a Norman Rockwell feel, giving attention to color and detail, a reflection of simpler times. When he works on commissions for his paintings, he sees it as “icing on the cake” to an activity he sees as part of his very being.
