Born in Windsor, Ontario Canada, Tom M. Moore has been drawing and painting since he could hold a pencil in his hand. After high school, Moore attended Schoolcraft College in Michigan.  There, he experimented and seriously developed his natural talent to draw and paint.  He also furthered his education at the Scottsdale School of Art in Arizona; studying under the renowned Dan Meiduch. Though he was very eager and ambitious, Moore put his artistic dreams on hold to pursue a career with American Airlines and honor his familial responsibilities.

Later, when his family had matured, he began painting again in his spare time. Evoking images of eras gone by, Moore’s paintings harbor attention to color and detail; a reflection of simpler times.  After being represented by galleries in Santa Fe and Taos, New Mexico, and Local Color Gallery in Nashville, Tennessee, Moore started to dream about owning his own art gallery and fulfilling his dream to become a professional artist. After retiring from American Airlines, he did just that. All About Art Gallery is proof of a life-long dream.  Moore and his wife, Geralyn, owned and operated the gallery for more than fifteen years before selling it to close friends Joy & Adam Baker in 2014 to pursue a happy retirement.

Tom Moore is now peacefully retired (again) and enjoys spending time with his family and painting when he can from his lakeside home studio in Hendersonville, TN. Though an injury has impaired his ability to paint as he once did, he still enjoys his favorite pastime - just a little differently now.
