Gallatin, Tennessee

Stephanie Ingram was born and raised in Gallatin, Tennessee. Having always been a creative, she began her artistic career as a student at the University of Mississippi where she painted local landmarks around the town of Oxford. After graduating with a BA in art, Ingram moved back to the Nashville area where she became interested in artwork focusing on music; specializing in musician portraits, and guitar art. Her favorite mediums are painting in acrylic, watercolor and mixed media as well as illustration in graphite and pen + ink. At any given time, Ingram can be found doing commission work for wedding locations, custom musician paintings and dog portraits or promoting her work at art crawls and festivals in and around the Nashville area.

Ingram's inspirations come from her love of music and a variety of vintage pop culture memorabilia such as vinyl records and 1940s Hollywood glamour portraits. She also has a love for the holidays which often inspires vintage replicas of pinup style watercolor illustrations. She treasures finding old papers, fabrics, and textured materials to create one-of-a-kind pieces. Ingram enjoys sharing her love of art by teaching her wide range of techniques and mediums to people of all ages. She recently has expanded her love of teaching by serving students as a Resource Assistant in Sumner County where she lives with her husband, two sons, and very cute Golden Retriever named Dylan.
