Ronn Hollis

Brentwood, Tennessee

Ronn Hollis is a Nashville, TN based artist that began his art career at a very early age, trying his hand at oil painting at age 9 and progressing through various styles and mediums throughout his life, landing on the acrylic-based contemporary expressionist style you see today.  He intentionally uses bold, bright colors partnered with an impasto painting technique to add energy and emotion to his each of his pieces.

After studying stone sculpture (among other things!) at Auburn University, he used that inspiration to develop a style that favors curved form over the use of straight lines. To continue his art education, Ronn has also studied in Taos, NM on multiple occasions with one his favorite artists, Michelle Torrez.  His painting style is also inspired by several other artists, including but not limited to LeRoy Neiman, Peter Max, Clyde Steadman, and Voka.

Private Patrons and Corporations alike, from California to New York, have incorporated Ronn’s work in their collections.  His work was also on temporary display in the Governor’s office in the Tennessee State Capitol from 2003 to 2008.

Along with a long running career as an artist, Ronn is also the CEO of a healthcare consulting practice focused on driving new sources of revenue to health systems throughout the country.  He has served on many non-profit Boards including the Nashville Predators Foundation, the Survivor Fitness Foundation (for cancer survivors), and the Dean’s Advisory Council for the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University, and has even guest lectured at Samford University and Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management and served as an adjunct professor at Belmont University.
