Lloyd Ronald (Ron) Hight grew up in San Diego, California. He attended the University of California at San Diego and the Art Center College in Los Angeles; majoring in Illustration and Graphic Design.  In 1986 Hight founded his company: Lloyd Hight Graphics.  Over the years he has expanded his services to include fine art, faux painting, and murals for businesses and private homes.  He also creates 3-D replicas from foam models for museums, schools, and scientific displays.

Though he greatly enjoyed living and working in California, in 2006 Hight began feeling restless.  He craved change and inspiration. It was at that time that he and his family moved to Tennessee; settling just outside of Nashville. Here his passion for art evolved from a commercial art base and advertising environment to reflect a wide variety of interests.  In 2016 he travelled to Canada to help design and finish a Science Museum as well a laser tag and miniature golf Family Recreation Center in Southern Alberta. He also made several trips to Kenya to work on large floor and wall murals in an Environmental Education Center.

Hight is the quintessential “artist for hire”. He enjoys using his creative talents to deliver exactly what his clients request; going above and beyond to create beautiful, lasting works be it a lush landscape, city skyline, large mural, or portrait of a beloved pet. His works can be found in numerous private collections and major establishments across the globe.
