Educated at Samford University and Auburn, an Alabama raised artist, Ronn Hollis has been painting for over twenty-five years. He enjoys the artistic freedoms allowed by the impressionistic movement. His works reflect that energy and style and are created to be a vibrant blend of traditional and non-traditional palettes.

He also enjoys the development of flowing in three dimensions. Having studied stone sculpture at Auburn University, Ronn found a unique way to express these forms through works of alabaster and marble.

Ronn travels throughout this country and Europe, and frequently calls on these events as inspiration for his work. The mix of muted backgrounds and vibrant subject matter are reminiscent in his recent trip to the Greek Isles where deep reds abound on a turquoise sea meeting the dusty-grey shore.

Ronn has shown his work at the Acorn Restaurant and Baptist Hospital in Nashville, TN. He participates in several auctions and fundraising events in the Nashville area.

Ronn serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council for the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn.
