Kendall Blosser, native of Virginia, graduated from Virginia Tech with training in interior design and theater construction. She has been living and studying art in Tennessee since 2002. Now a resident of the Gallatin and Hendersonville area, Kendall began exhibiting her art in 2008 through Art in Bloom and other Nashville venues.
Kendall comes from a unique background of professional musicians, actors, dancers and an artist. Her personal journey began with a love of dance, studying in New York, and evolving into performing arts while in college. Her liberal arts education allowed Kendall to study architectural design as well as the impact of color and shape on feeling and mood. In this new phase of her life (she refers to herself as a “late bloomer”) she has found a way through her art to express joy, real life, and whimsy.
Her contemporary style, based in oils, expresses feelings through texture and color. Kendall’s colorful paintings elicit personal interpretation and many find hidden forms depending on their viewpoint. Her unique style draws attention from the young and old.
